TRANSPORTATION
Houston has two airports,  The International Airport Houston (aka George Bush International, which is somewhat to the north of town) and Houston Hobby (which is smaller, one terminal in the south of town, and closer in). JetBlue and Southwest Airlines both fly to Hobby exclusively; some Delta and some American flights also go there.

The cheapest way to get to Rice from either of these airports is either to take an uber or to use the Supershuttle shared ride service.  The latter can take a long time to get where you are going as it is a door to door van service, and they will stop to drop everyone off. However the service is a flat rate of 21 dollars from Hobby and 32 from Bush. You need to reserve your shuttle in advance and do it online (www.supershuttle.com).  These rates are about half what a normal cab fare would be.
